How you will make an impact

Being part of the People team, you will help Hygraph find and retain diverse employees, for the Engineering Team. You will be entrusted with an ongoing quest to discover talent, build a strong employment brand, and ensure great relationships with both candidates and employees. You will report to the People and Culture Lead. The People team is responsible for creating a healthy and productive workplace that attracts, retains, supports, engages, and develops talent.


Some of your tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans for the Engineering team
  • Work together with the Talent Acquisition Manager and Marketing team, for employer branding initiatives to attract tech talents.
  • Perform sourcing to fill open positions, and identify the right job boards and platforms for the jobs.
  • Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls, etc.) by using our ATS Recruitee.
  • Take steps to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers, or other events in the Technology domain.
  • Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement.


Our expectations from you

  • Proven experience as a talent acquisition manager, with at least 2 years of experience hiring only for technical roles.
  • Experience working for an international company.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting and sourcing.
  • Understanding of all selection methods and techniques.
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards.
  • Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles.
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases. We work with Recruitee.
  • You are an excellent communicator and can communicate well in English, which is our official working language.
  • Bonus point: Our tech stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, React, Golang, PSQL, GraphQL, REST, Pulumi, AWS, Vercel, Cloudflare, Fastly, New Relic, and Github actions. If you have experience hiring for some of these techs, that will be an added advantage for you.

  • Team Fit call with some of our other teammates
  • Reference Check and Offer.

The response time is usually within 2 weeks for each step. You could expect some alterations when necessary.
